Uptown Comfort Food Crawl serving up nine tasty dishes this year

With nine local restaurants participating, there’s a rainbow of mouthwatering dishes to pick from at this year’s Uptown Comfort Food Crawl.

Tracy Van Kalsbeek of Uptown Waterloo BIA said this year, there will be nine different restaurants participating.

“For the next month, people can go check out those businesses, order curbside pickup or delivery and each one of those businesses has a comfort food item on their menu that they can choose from.”

She noted that participating in the event is a great way to support local businesses and explore local eats.

“What a deliciously fun way to do so! The fact that they can do it over a four-week time frame is great. While we have nine different businesses, it would be great to check out their nine different comfort food items and so to be able to do that within a 4-week time frame is awesome and I encourage people to do that!”

Tasters can vote for their favourite dish online.

The event will run until February 21st.
